Swaraj Associates, a pioneering business organization since 2004, began being led by Preet Babel in 2011. “I had a complete service background. My parents and elders have always been salaried employees but I have always wanted to set up my own business and that has made me struggle a lot. I had a finance background and saw many ups and downs in my initial days. I had to sell all my gold, cars and even borrowed money from private money lenders in those days. Things went so downhill that I was in immense debt from around 1999 to 2002. Even my dad (Chandrakant Babel) borrowed money from his acquaintances and ended up spoiling his reputation too.”

A Samaritan that Babel will always be profusely grateful towards is Uday Jagtap, a notable proprietor of “Swaraj Associates” who stood by him in his time of absolute need. He extended his help towards Swaraj Associates and did the job of bringing calm to the chaos. “I really want to convey my heartfelt thanks to him,” he adds.
